Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Meet Up Place:
The South Parking Lot (next to the main Fairchild Entrance).
Unless we specifically tell you otherwise, this is where we will always meet.
If you park in the parking lot that is just inside the front gate, you can walk south along the lakes until you get to the South Lot.

What to Wear and Bring:
It is important to protect yourself from metal tools, thorns, poison ivy and the sun.
* Long Shirt, Long Pants
* Hat, sun glasses
* Water bottle/canteen (pocket sized)
* Sunblock and Bug Spray
* Closed-toed shoes or boots
Optional:
* Work gloves
* Loppers, mattocks, picks, hand shears
* Picnic lunch or snack

From Cocoanut Grove:
Take Main Highway south. Stay on the main drag – it changes names to LeJeune Road for a block just before Cocoplum Circle, where you exit the circle onto Old Cutler Road. Continue south, and when you see Kendall Drive (88 Street) you are getting close. Continue past the main Park entrance (with stop-light) and take the next left by the Fairchild entrance.

From 826:
Take 826 South, exit on SW 88 St east.
Take Kendall Drive until you reach Old Cutler Road.
Turn right.
Continue past the main Park entrance (with stop-light) and take the next left by the Fairchild entrance.

From Kendall:
Take Kendall Drive until you reach Old Cutler Road.
Turn right.
Continue past the main Park entrance (with stop-light) and take the next left by the Fairchild entrance.

From Red Road/Gables:
Take Red Road (SW 57 Ave) south to Kendall Drive (SW 88 St), Take Kendall Drive until you reach Old Cutler Road.
Turn right.
Continue past the main Park entrance (with stop-light) and take the next left by the Fairchild entrance.

Recreation:
Kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boat ramp, marina with gas dock, fishing, kiteboarding.

2/6/2010 (First Day). Removed 2 Dump-Truck Loads of invasives. TERRA came out early and set a strong pace. Others who came out for the County work day worked with UPG, and we had around 70+ who volunteered.
