PROJECTS Enhancements for butterfly habitat! You can expect to do real work, get grubby, and make the world a better place. We will be weeding, planting and mulching. There are both adult and family level projects. Extreme workouts are available.

Our project will be on the south side of the property, along the fence shared with the adjacent Park. Check your e-mail, we will send a last-minute update about the project, weather, etc the night before.
BRING / Wear / Prepare Bring a water bottle, closed-toed shoes & dress for the weather. Gardening gloves, favorite sunblock and bug repellent are optional. UPG will provide Tools, Gloves, and endless ice water refills. You will be doing real work, so eat a real breakfast (you will need the energy).
BATHROOM There is a bathroom on site. Enjoy.
SCHEDULE Volunteers, see above. UPG Staff, coordinate with your supervisor.

UPG is delighted to announce that we are now also working with the City of Hialeah! This means Mariposas in Hialeah!
WARNING: Projects could take place inside or outside of Amelia Earhart County Park. Please watch your email, especially the night before the project in case there are changes, including the project site. Cutoff time to sign up is 5pm the day before.
PROJECTS will depend on season, needs and resources. They could be outside Amelia. They may include UPG Nursery, Agriculture, Pineland or Mountain Bike Trail Habitat inside Amelia (a vast park of 500+ acres). You can expect to do real work, get grubby, and make the world a better place.
