Join UPG in providing Stewardship for Morningside Picnic Islands. UPG formally Adopted it, and we provide habitat care, invasive plant and marine debris removal.
SCHEDULE: Pelican Harbor Boat Ramps Pickup at 8am Return at 11am
PROJECTS: Education: Amanda (Dir of Education) will be providing family-friendly educational projects. Marine Debris: Sandy (Dir of Policy) will be leading the marine debris removal. Big Gumbo Re-Planting: Alex (Operations Manager) will be leading a small team re-planting a broken tree.

PREP: Dress for the beach, but with shoes for traction and safety. Bring a water bottle. Wear a hat, sun-shirt, sun-block, etc. Eat a real breakfast, or bring a snack. You will need the energy. If you have a trash-grabber and personal gloves, bring them. There’s a basic commode on the boat, but plan not to use it.
