You are invited to join UPG for an Xmas Tree Harvest at ACE Preserve!
How it works:
You register for the event in the calendar (see below), and bring out your family.
We usually lash together 3 branches to create the impression of foliage needed to look like a traditional Xmas Tree. Kept in water, it will probably last into January.
UPG trains everyone in terminating Australian Pines with no herbicide needed. You’ll assist in the project, perhaps cutting down an Australian Pines or lashing them together.

NAVIGATE to 2605 NE 135 St / North Miami, FL 33181, and park next to the Preserve sign. We meet at this spot at 8am. If you are late, call the event organizer for the exact work site. (Check your e-mail the morning of the event in case we send a last-minute update about the project, weather, etc).
BRING / Wear / Prepare Bring a water bottle, closed-toed shoes & dress for the weather. Gardening gloves, favorite sunblock and bug repellent are optional. UPG will provide Tools, Gloves, and endless ice water refills. You will be doing real work, so eat a real breakfast (you will need the energy).
BATHROOM There is no bathroom on site. Plan accordingly.
SCHEDULE Volunteers, see above. UPG Staff, coordinate with your supervisor.
