Director of Climate Apprentices

$39,600.00

Annually ($30 x 30 hours) x 44 Weeks *

Description of duties: Manage, train and supervise the activities of Climate Apprentices. Execute projects in the field. Plan nursery production.

Essential functions:  Schedule CA activities. Plan plantings. Supervise members. Provide training. 

Qualifications/ characteristics: Must have experience managing projects with multiple employees or volunteers doing habitat restoration or similar. Related degree preferred. Education background helpful.

* UPG may offer additional hours as funding allows.

Assistant Director of Climate Apprentices

$29,400.00

Annually ($22 x 35 hours) x 44 Weeks *

Description of duties: Assist the Director of Climate Apprentices as needed. Manage collection of metrics and data. 

Essential functions:  Metrics and data collection. Education and recruiting programs. 

Qualifications/ characteristics: Should have experience in education. Metrics experience a plus. Education, Science or related degree preferred. Permaculture helpful.
